£30,424 to £36,298 per annum

The EPSRC Doctoral Prize is a prestigious scheme aimed at developing and assisting the very best EPSRC funded students to launch a successful career in research following the end of their PhD. Successful applicants will be expected to undertake significant new research although continuation of some specific work from applicants' PhD research that will result in publications will be permitted.

The successful applicant will carry out a post-doctoral project, develop internal and external research networks, and gain experience as a postdoctoral researcher. The host School at UEA will be defined by project of the successful applicant.

Applicants must have recently completed a PhD (or submitted your thesis no more than 6 months before commencing the Fellowship) funded in whole or part by EPSRC. This full time post is available from summer/autumn 2013 for a period one year. More details of the Fellowship and applications process can be found in the further particulars.
