The postholder will work within the International Project Office of the Surface Ocean- Lower Atmosphere Study project (SOLAS). The postholder will manage the associated COST Action 735 and be involved in assisting the SOLAS Scientific Steering Committee. The postholder will assist with events organisation, website management and communication with scientists and projects. You must have BSc (or equivalent) in environmental sciences or allied subjects, together with experience in coordination and organisation of large events, preferably in science and be able to fulfill all other person specification elements. The position is available from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2012.
