Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy (0.5 FTE)
REF: ATS581

(3 year fixed-term)

£38,522 to £44,607 per annum pro rata

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated academic in the field of speech and language therapy who will support the provision of speech and language pre-registration and CPD education, and will contribute to the teaching of speech and language therapy and make a full contribution to the curricula offered by the School of AHP. This will involve teaching, marking, assessment, supervision and administrative duties. The postholder will contribute to curriculum innovation, teaching and assessment and supervision particularly within the speech and language therapy undergraduate programme; take on administrative responsibilities within the School and undertake appropriate enterprise and engagement activities.

Successful candidates will be registered as a HCPC Speech and Language Therapist and have demonstrable post-qualification experience. Previous experience of teaching within a higher education setting is expected, however we welcome applications from early-career academics. Experience of relevant clinical supervision is essential.

The post will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
