Lecturer in Post Qualifying Child and Family Social Work

£38,140 to £44,166 per annum pro rata

The School of Social Work and Psychology, a leading research and teaching institution and home to the renowned Centre for Research on the Child and Family, is seeking to appoint a part time teaching and scholarship Lecturer in Post Qualifying Child and Family Social Work. The post is funded by agencies working in partnership with Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the East Anglia region. It is intended, primarily, to support the Early Professional Development (EPD) and Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). The post holder will have specialist knowledge and skill in children and families social work in the UK and practice education, teaching, or professional development experience.

You must be a Registered Social Worker with GSCC, have a Master's degree in Social Work, Advanced Award or equivalent and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post. The post is available at 0.6fte (three days per week) on a fixed term basis until 12 February 2013 from 16 April 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter. This appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at enhanced level from the Criminal Records Bureau.
