Senior Lecturer in Nursing Sciences

£45,941 to £53,233 per annum

We have a clear vision and strategy to be a leading academic School focussed in nursing, midwifery, operating department practice and related disciplines, in order to improve the quality of health care through our research and education.

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to direct our Pre-registration Adult Nursing Degree programme. The post will hold accountability for the professional integrity of the course, maintenance of NMC standards and the student experience. The academic Senior Lecturer post is an indefinite appointment. The successful candidate will also hold the Course Director role for an initial period of five years, with an option to extend the role beyond this by mutual agreement.

Applications are invited from graduates in a health related discipline with strong academic leadership skills and a desire to join a research active school with excellent partnerships in health and social care.
