£37,839 to £43,840 per annum
The postholder will develop world-class research, focussing on the development of computational models and statistical approaches for the analysis and interpretation of high-throughput genomics data. Based at the internationally renowned Genome Analysis Centre (TGAC), the postholder will benefit from access to data generated using the latest DNA sequencing technologies and bioinformatics infrastructure. The post will be offered with funding for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Associate and a UEA Dean's PhD studentship for three years. The postholder will also deliver some teaching within the School of Computing Sciences at the UEA. Applicants must have a relevant PhD (or equivalent) and be able to fulfil all other elements of the person specification. This post is available from 1 September 2010 on a full-time indefinite basis.
