Professor Harper-Bill's teaching interests embrace the history of Western Europe, 1000-1520.and he is prepared to supervise theses on monastic history, medieval East Anglia and the editing of archival texts.

Key Research Interests

Christopher Harper-Bill’s main research interests lie in the ecclesiastical history of England from the Norman Conquest to the eve of the Reformation, and particularly in the edition of episcopal and monastic records.  He is currently completing a four-volume edition of the acta of the bishops of Norwich, 1070-1299.
