Following his election last year as a Fellow of the British Academy, Professor Nick Vincent has now been elected a member of the Commission Internationale de Diplomatique.

Based in Paris, but with a truly international membership, the Commission is supposed to comprise the world's fifty leading experts on medieval documents, their edition and use. Professor Vincent becomes one of only three English members of the Commission below retirement age.
