Cold War Anglia: the culture and landscape of the Cold War in East Anglia
Cold War Anglia is an exciting new community partnership project which aims to research the history of the Cold War from a local community perspective.
The project offers the opportunity for members of local communities to work alongside historians from the University of East Anglia, and other organisations, to investigate and record the history of the Cold War in the region.
Have you got memories of the Cold War in East Anglia, or do you have some photographs, film or memorabilia from the period?
Are you interested in the history of your local community, your business, or your family, during the Cold War?
Academics from the Centre of East Anglian Studies at the University of East Anglia, and specialists from our partner organisations, are available to help in you in recording your memories or planning and researching your projects.
If you have memories of the Cold War in East Anglia, or want help in researching the history of East Anglia during the Cold War, please email us and we would be delighted to talk with you.
