The Gorse Industrial Estate, Thetford, was formerly part of RAF Barnham and was one of Britain's first nuclear bomb storage facilities.  

Since its closure in 1966, the site has been owned by Mr Keith Eldred, who has run it as an industrial estate. Mr Eldred has preserved the buildings and layout of the site almost without change. The consequence is a unique historical resource.
