MSc Advanced Professional Practice
We are pleased to announce the recent approval of our re-designed MSc Advanced Professional Practice programme which will be offered form 2017-18.
The programme comprises core learning, addressing themes of self-management and leadership alongside a new module aimed at supporting students to use evidence to inform and advance their practice. The final project takes the format of a Service Improvement Project. The award additionally comprises the option of following a Clinical or Leadership pathway, with each offering a range of module options.
The curriculum has been designed to offer an attractive interdisciplinary programme accessible to International applicants. Exit routes are available at Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s Degree with studies completed on either a part time or full time basis. It is also anticipated that the opportunity to return and ‘top-up’ 60 and 120 credit awards will be available.
Jacqueline Phipps has been appointed as the Programme Director and will also act as the Leadership Pathway Lead in the first instance supported in her role by David Shepherd who has been appointed as our Clinical Pathway Lead.
