In addition to UEA studentships, we welcome applications from self funding PhD applicants and from those who may have secured funding from other sources.

We currently have the following specific project opportunities for self funding applicants:

Psychological factors predicting treatment adherence in paediatric epilepsy

Cultural influences on children’s understanding of the human body and the concepts of life and death


There is no closing date for receiving applications for these projects, applications will be considered until the position is filled. Applicants from overseas (non UK/EU) who are externally or self-funded may be eligible for a Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences international student bursary of £5,000 per annum over 3 years towards fees or accommodation costs.
