Sponsor Fly

Why support Fly?

FLY is The University of East Anglia’s Festival of Literature for Young People and is the only literary and creative writing festival in UK aimed specifically at young adults. The aim of the Festival is to inspire and introduce young people to the pleasure of reading and writing.

Since we began, FLY has welcomed around 4,000 students, teachers and librarians from over 70 schools within East Anglia. The Festival programme was designed to inspire young adults through author talks, imaginative workshops and readings. And it has worked! The feedback has been overwhelming.  Teachers are telling us that their students are inspired by the Festival.  Students are singing the festival praises, but more importantly FLY is raising their aspirations to include Higher Education within their sights.

FLY works with its partners

We want FLY to be your success story, too. Each sponsorship package is tailor-made to fit the marketing and promotional aims of your own organisation and you will be able to work alongside the Festival as a partner in order to maximise your profile within the Festival.

FLY offers its supporters and partners:

Corporate social responsibility
There are several packages available which will enable your company to help raise the aspirations among the most disadvantaged young members of the community and help develop their literacy.

Profile raising
We believe in working with our sponsors and FLY will enable you to raise your company’s profile as part of the Festival’s extensive marketing, publicity and media campaign. There are several sponsorship packages available for the 2018 Festival which are specifically designed for this (see below) and which will put your corporate name before a wide audience of young people, parents and teachers.

Association
By becoming a supporter of FLY you are also associated with the University of East Anglia and with the literary tradition of Norwich, which is a UNESCO City of Literature.
