UEA ranked #2 in UK for Communication and Media Studies

The 2012 Complete University Guide (released in spring 2011) has ranked UEA as the number two university in the country for Communication and Media Studies.

The guide ranked ninety universities across the UK in terms of student satisfaction, entry standards, research, and graduate prospects. Rayna Denison, Director of Teaching in the School of Film and Television Studies, commented on the report:

“This result is immensely gratifying and is indicative of our staff’s inventiveness in producing a set of degrees that reflect the interests of students and the needs of employers. We endeavour to ensure that the School’s highly respected research achievements, where we were recently ranked in the top three in the country, continue to drive our teaching, enabling our students to benefit from the highest calibre of university experiences”

The School of Film, Television and Media Studies offers a number of undergraduate degrees relating to communication and media studies: BA in Media StudiesBA in Film and Television StudiesBA in Film and American Studies and BA in Film and English Studies.
