From January 2013, Keith Johnston will be Chief Investigator on a research project exploring issues around video games and transmedia, through a mix of industry-focused interviews and events. The joint project (through CREATe) will be based at the University of Edinburgh and UEA. Keith has also been invited to co-organise and run the academic segment of the 3DS conference, being hosted at BFI Southbank 26-27 March 2013. The event will feature industry and academic panels, and will explore whether 3D has matured as a production technique within different media.
