Exhibition: Falling Backwards
01 March 2013 - 09 June 2013
Location: Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and public sites across the UEA campus
Ticket price: Free admission
Attendees: All welcome
Falling Backwards by the artist Ruth Proctor comprises specially commissioned and site-specific drawings, installation and filmed performance works. The work responds to the award-winning architecture of the campus - in particular the Grade II listed Ziggurats, designed by Denys Lasdun, and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, one of Norman Foster's earliest landmark buildings.
The exhibition, which runs from March 1 to June 9 at UEA, comes as the university celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. It is being curated by postgraduate students in the School of Art History and World Art Studies, as part of their MA Museum Studies course and takes place in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.
Opening times are from 10am-5pm. Entrance to this exhibition is free. To find out more visit the Falling Backwards website.
