New student accommodation building

The University is planning a new, low energy student accommodation building for its Norwich campus.

The 231-bed student residence will be situated next to the Orwell and Wolfson Close residences.
It will reach extremely high standards of sustainability. The university will be seeking  BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.

An increase in demand for campus accommodation from first-year undergraduates means that the project will be completed as quickly as possible – with work scheduled to begin in July 2013 and the project completed by September 2014.

During the one-year fast-track project, the university will work hard to keep disruption to staff, students and the public to a minimum.
