As with any large organisation we produce a significant amount of waste. Waste has impact on the environment in terms of transport, processing, resource depletion and soil and water quality. The management of waste is controlled by law and we can be fined for breaking these laws. Legislation covers storage and segregation of waste, as well as disposal/removal and recycling. It is therefore vital that we all take responsibility for the waste we produce.
