How Can You Help?

Our Transport Top Tips

No matter where or why you are travelling, please…

Think about whether your journey is necessary. Do you need to travel? Can you achieve the purpose of your journey in a different way e.g. telephone or video conferencing, Skype?

Contact the Travel & Transport Team to discuss your journey; they can help you review options and make more sustainable travel choices: transport@uea.ac.uk 01603 592353.

Consider walking or cycling, even if this is not five days per week – there are health and financial benefits to doing this - Have you taken your 10,000 steps today?

Catch the bus; there is a bus every 6 minutes between UEA & the city/rail station. Park and Ride is also available from Costessey.

Join our car share scheme – save money on fuel and get a guaranteed lift home.

Encourage visitors to campus to check out our travel advice pages.

Join the CarbonCrew and be a sustainable transport champion (find out more here).
