British Deaf Association

This is the largest organisation in the UK run by Deaf people, containing information, news and advice. The Bda aims to end discrimination against Sign language users, both Deaf and hearing.

Mencap

Mencap work with people with learning disabilities. They aim to challenge prejudice and change laws and services. They offer direct support to people with learning disabilities.

Norfolk EDA

Norfolk EDA offers help and support in a comfortable, safe environment for anyone over 16 with bulimia, anorexia,or other eating disorders.

Skill: National Bureau for Students with Disabilities

This national charity helps young people over 16 years of age  with any impairment, including physical and sensory disabilities. It promotes entry to employment and learning opportunities.

The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council is the UK's national organisation of the worldwide Disabled People's Movement. " We were set up in 1981 by disabled people to promote our full equality and participation in UK society, and we now represent some 70 groups run by disabled people in the UK at national level."
