Resnet

RESNET

woman in labResNet is a contact, support and information network for all women working in research, including PhD students, research staff, and faculty members. Network members can be found in most schools and departments of the UEA, the Institute of Food Research, the John Innes Centre and the Sainsbury Laboratory.

The aims of ResNet are:

  • To bring together women researchers with common interests

  • To provide inspiration, information and support

  • To promote career development

  • To raise awareness about equal opportunities

The ResNet lunchtime events series
offers a diverse range of workshops (eg ‘Confidence and Self-esteem building’), and interesting external speakers (eg high profile female scientists, MPs, authors and Equality campaign groups).

Details of events will be posted on the ResNet website

For more information on ResNet and how to become a member, contact the ResNet administrator Sarah Payne on ext 3269 or email s.payne@uea.ac.uk.
