Everyone who studies or works at UEA has the right to be treated fairly and consistently and with dignity and
respect.
To underpin this principle the University's Guidelines for Students on Dealing with Harassment have been developed to guide and support any student who feels they are suffering harassment, bullying or abuse.
The Guidelines tell you how to recognise harassment, bullying and other inappropriate behaviour, and how to deal with it, from simple informal steps through to pursuing a formal complaint. They also tell you who to contact for support and advice at each stage.
Remember, you have the right to be treated fairly and consistently, so do not feel you have to suffer or worry alone.
