We want your experience of life at UEA and in Norwich to be happy and positive. However, we do realise sometimes things go wrong.

If you suffer bullying or discrimination outside the University you don't need to suffer alone or in silence. HateFreeNorfolk is a new website designed to give you information and support and an online way to initially report any incident that has troubled you.
Friendly support and advice is also available from our local Diversity Liaison Officer, Hau Yee Lam.
Diversity Liaison Officers (DLOs) are part of the Police Diversity Team. They work to increase trust and confidence in the Police and reduce fear of crime by liaising with people of all communities, support groups and organisations.
DLOs provide operational support alongside the Safer Neighbourhood Teams. Together they deal with community tension, hate incidents and raise awareness on a variety of issues such as race, disability, sexual orientation, gender, religion and age.
