At the end of the month Professorial Fellow Peter Liss will be leaving for his first 3-month period as Eminent Scholar at the Texas A & M University Institute for Advanced Studies. Of the first six scholars he is the only one from outside the USA. While in Texas he will be conducting research on the reactivity of atmospheric ozone with components in seawater important for marine life. At the inauguration ceremony at the end of January, each of the scholars was presented with a bust (as shown).
