Biography
I have a longstanding interest in the environment and took my BSc and Phd in the school. My current research is looking at the impact of the natural and social environment upon human health. I am currently working on projects looking at the impact of environment, weather and water supply upon gastrointestinal infections; water hardness and cardiovascular disease; and agriculture, water supply and Crohns disease. I am keen to develop my research into looking at the impact of climate change upon health. I also have skills in Geographical Information Systems and have used these in projects on environment and health and ecology. I have a number of peer reviewed publication and have undertaken research for a number of charitable trusts and government departments.
