They heard presentations from Trevor Davies (PVC Research) and Andrew Lovett on developments at UEA and in the School. A number of the alumni also gave short presentations on their careers since UEA, what they felt they gained most from ENV (field course experiences were particularly mentioned), and subject areas which they thought the School should emphasize in future. Three other current faculty attended (Steve Dorling, Parv Suntharalingham and Jenni Turner) and the subsequent discussions were very helpful in developing ideas for future alumni events and on topics such as enhancing student employability.
