Environmental Earth Sciences

We aim to understand the behaviour of the outer solid Earth within the context of past, present and future environmental change. Thus our research examines the physical and chemical reactions of the surface and near-surface lithosphere with the biosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere, both today and in the past.
