IET Present Around The World Competition 2017 at UEA
The IET Present Around The World (PATW) competition was held by the IET Anglian Coastal Network at UEA on 17th May 2017.
The contestants were four Engineering students from BEng and MEng courses with the presentations:
Laurie Bird, ''Just look at the thing! - The importance of characterisation in developing nanotechnology''
Tom Hull, ''An environmental culture on par with Health & Safety - The role of engineers''
Matt Looker, ''The energy haves & have-nots”
Jim Rijks, ''The facts behind ‘Fracking polarisation''
The winner of the PATW competition at UEA was Jim Rijks and the runner-up Laurie Bird.
