The University of East Anglia and the East of England Energy Group have been recognised for their commitment to student employability as a Highly Commended nomination in the Best Collaboration Between a University and Employer category at this year’s National Undergraduate Employability Awards.
The University of East Anglia and the East of England Energy Group fought off stiff competition from a range of universities and industries. The other finalists in this category were eventual winners Ravensbourne and Ogilvy, EC Futures and Tata Technologies, The University of Birmingham and Capgemini, The University of Nottingham and International Celebrity Networks (ICN) and Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow School for Business and Society and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The Awards this year saw over 400 nominations from employers, universities and students across 17 different Award categories plus 3 Highly Commended awards. Winners of each Award were selected by an independent judging panel, made up of key thought leaders in the industry.
