Previous experience teaching abroad was great.

I chose Key Stage 2 to focus on as I find this age easier to relate to and came to UEA as it is a well-respected university in a quiet, historical city.

The course involved learning about teaching both through professional development and subject knowledge as well as teaching practice. I have gained an overall knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and appropriate teaching methods. School placements gave me an insight into KS2 classroom life. I enjoyed the science and English sessions best because of the teachers and the practical approach used. My personal tutor was incredibly supportive. Without her I might not have made it to the end.

The course is well organised and I would recommend it to others and I intend to enjoy my teaching job to the max.
