Lina holds a B.Sc in Mathematics (minor: Informatics) from Damascus University, and an M.A in Mathematics Education from the Institute of Education, University of London. She worked as a mathematics teacher for a number of years. Currently, she is a PhD student at the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia. Her research is on the use of technology for mathematics teaching and learning at secondary schools.
