I teach physical approaches to occupational therapy, mainly on the undergraduate programme including:

  • Seating and posture
  • Wheelchair assessment and provision
  • Risk assessment
  • Legislation
  • Amputees
  • Intermediate care

  • Equipment provision
  • Activity analysis
  • Housing and adaptations (in conjunction with outside clinician)

In conjunction with physiotherapy colleague ran external Short Course in autumn ’05 for 20 rehabilitation assistants

In conjunction with occupational therapy colleague ran the Aim Higher Summer School in July ‘05

In conjunction with physiotherapy colleague ran external 2½ day summer residential course for year 12 students interested in training to be OT/Physio
