Biography

Debbie Lampert is a Lecturer and Tutor for the Early Years Professional Status programme and contributes to the BA Professional Studies degree.

Debbie qualified as a teacher at Durham where she obtained a Certificate in Education. She has a Diploma in the Teaching of Mathematics to Primary and Pre-School Children. At Kings College London she achieved an MA degree in Mathematics Education. She taught in Hackney, London for ten years specialising, in teaching mathematics through a problem solving approach and extending this through the use of IT. She also worked throughout London as an Adviser for ICT in the primary sector.

A great love for sailing cruisers on the Norfolk Broads instigated a move to Norfolk where Debbie taught in a number of primary schools. This was followed by a lecturers post at Norwich City College in Early Years Education.
