Secondary Information Evening

Venue: The Foyer, School of Education and Lifelong Learning, UEA, Norwich

We offer the one-year, full-time Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) route into teaching. The course is assessed against Masters Level criteria - leading to Qualified Teacher Status and 60 credits at Masters Level.

The general information session will commence at 18:15 and will be followed by subject talks in groups:

English
Geography
History
Mathematics
Modern Foreign Languages (specialising in either/or: French, German, Spanish)
Physical Education
Religious Education
Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

Secondary tutors will be available to answer all subject-related questions throughout the evening. PGCE Admissions staff will also be available to answer questions on the admissions process and entry requirements.

We welcome all enquiries. Previous attendees have ranged from those making a tentative initial enquiry to those who have already made their decision and are on the verge of making their application.

Directions & Parking
If you are arriving by car, please park in the main car park (P1 on campus map) and make your way down to the School of Education and Lifelong Learning (F1 on campus map). Parking will be free, but you must bring your parking ticket with you to the event registration to get it validated. Please click to view directions to the University.
