The Centre for Counselling Studies in association with the University Counselling Service offers a range of other activities of interest to counsellors and to others working in allied fields. Graduates of the Centre for Counselling Studies are invited to become members of the Associates of the University Counselling Service. The Associates host thrice-yearly public talks and sponsor other open events throughout the year such as day conferences, encounter group week-ends and workshops.
The Centre for Continuing Education offers a Certificate in Counselling Skills course.
***Gendlin's Philosophy of the Implicit: A Process Model Colloquium (13th - 16th July 2007)***
This colloquium was held for people - psychotherapists, focusing practitioners, philosophers, students, and others who are interested in Eugene Gendlin's work on the philosophy of the implicit, and who wanted to extend or share their knowledge and
understanding of this work.
***Spirituality Conference***
The Spiritual Dimension in Therapy and Experiential Exploration: this conference for those counsellors, psychotherapists and other professionals concerned to explore the significance of spirituality in their life and practice took place from 18th to 22nd July 2004. A post-conference website is now available for interested parties.
