A MA Counselling may be taken either as a continuation of the programme for the Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling

OR

by combining previous study in the form of Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) (up to a maximum of 90 credits), with a series of prescribed modules which must amount to a minimum of a further 90 credits.

It is expected that students applying for 90 credits of APL will normally complete additional modules amounting to a further 90 credits, made up of the following:

Research Skills and Dissertation (60 credits)
