Biography

I joined the School of Economics as a full time research student in January 2012. Before coming to UEA, I attended graduate economics programs at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Germany and the University of the Philippines’ School of Economics. I also studied Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines.

I have several years of work experience as an economist, including posts as senior staff economist for the macroeconomic planning office of the Philippine government, as head of research for an asset management firm in the Philippines, and as research economist for the Asian Development Bank. Key Research Interests

My research interests are in the area of experimental and behavioural economics. Using laboratory experiments and field data, I am exploring how well case-based reasoning can explain individuals’ investment behaviour.  My work is supervised by Professor Robert Sugden and Dr. Theodore Turocy.
