Berkeley, CA, June 11th, 2010 – Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress) is pleased to announce that Daniel John Zizzo (University of East Anglia) is the winner of this year’s Kenneth J. Arrow Senior Prize for his article, "Inferential Expectations," which published in The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics (BEJM).

Professor Zizzo’s work was voted the very best paper published in a bepress Economics journal in 2009 by a Senior scholar, by economics experts from around the world.

“More than ever, voting between the nominees for this year’s award has been extremely close,” said bepress Chair and Founder Aaron Edlin. “Ultimately this paper was most highly regarded by the economic community that decides the outcome of these awards.”

Named for renowned economist and Nobel laureate Kenneth J. Arrow, the prize is awarded annually for the paper by a junior and senior economist that represents the very best of bepress economics publishing.
