We are very pleased to announce that four new members of faculty have joined us this January.
We have pleasure in welcoming the following new members of faculty to the School of Economics:
Alasdair Brown is a new Lecturer. He is completing his PhD in Finance and Management at SOAS, University of London, on the market microstructure of betting exchanges. He will be teaching courses in corporate finance and international finance this semester.
Dr Jibonayan Raychaudhuri joins us from the University of Essex.
Dr Warapong Wongwachara is a Lecturer in Financial Economics. He was recently awarded a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge. His thesis looked at the impact of econometric errors in quantitative financial economics, addressing issues such as non-normality of financial data, misspecifications of utility functions, and model uncertainty.
Dr Fuyu Yang holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Leicester. Before joining the UEA, she was working as a post-doctorate researcher in Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin, Germany. Her research involves making Bayesian inference of models with high dimensional latent variables, and model selections with the use of information flow. Her research also involves evaluating the forecasting capacities of statistical models.
