UEA Faculty of Social Sciences London Lecture Series: Wednesday 6 April 2011

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

Lecturer: Professor Robert Sugden Title: How the market gives us what we want – even if we are irrational

Organisation:  The lecture is part of the series of occasional London Lectures organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of East Anglia (UEA).

It will take place at the UEA London Study Centre, 102 Middlesex Street, London E1 7EZ (five minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station).

Reception (with wine, soft drinks and nibbles) from 17:00 to 17:30.  Robert Sugden will speak for about 50 minutes.  A discussant will speak for about 5 minutes and the remaining time will be devoted to open discussion.  The topic of the seminar is closely related to the theme of the LSE ‘Behavioural Public Policy’ seminar series, and participants in these seminars will be particularly welcome. Attached is a glossy flyer for the event, and also a fuller description of what it will involve.

The lecture is open to anyone who is interested (and is free of charge).  But because of space limitations attendees are asked to register by emailing Gina Neff (g.neff@uea.ac.uk) at the School of Economics, UEA.
