Dr Grischa Perino has joined the team of economists working on the UK National Ecosystem Assessment.
Grischa Perino has joined the team of economists working on the UK National Ecosystem Assessment (UK NEA, see http://uknea.unep-wcmc.org/). It is the first analysis of the UK’s natural environment in terms of the benefits it provides to society and continuing economic prosperity. UK NEA has been initiated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), DEFRA and two research councils (ESRC and NERC) among others. It comprises some 160 scientists and about 20 economists. Grischa will work on urban ecosystems. His contribution is supported by a grant of 7,000 GBP.
