The last CEI of the Autumn semester was held on Monday 6th December 2010 and Professor Bob Sugden presented "How the market gives us what we want - even if we are irrational".  Professor Sugden (UEA) is the author or editor of eight books and over one hundred papers in refereed journals and one of the few UK economists included in the ISI Highly Cited list.  His research investigates issues in welfare economics, social choice, choice under uncertainty, the foundations of decision and game theory, the methodology of economics, and the evolution of social conventions.
