I am a Lecturer in Economics in the School of Economics at UEA. I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Essex.
I am a member of the Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science at UEA (http://www.uea.ac.uk/ssf/cbess) and affiliate researcher at the Centre for Experimental Economics, at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark (http://www.econ.ku.dk/cee/ ).
I currently work on a new ESRC sponsored research project, "Understanding Focal Points in Bargaining Situations", (grant RES-000-22-3322), on which I am Principal Investigator and my colleague Bob Sugden is Co-Investigator.
My personal home page, with downloadable publications and working papers, is available here.
Research
My general research interests are game theory, experimental economics and behavioural economics. I use game-theoretic and experimental research methods to analyze bargaining and co-ordination situations, strategic moves, focal points, and monetary reward systems and incentives.
