The Sainsbury Centre, once a hidden gem of UEA and Norfolk, will become more widely acknowledged as a jewel in the crown of the region and nation in the years ahead. This will involve new and exciting exhibitions that will inspire and stimulate audiences from all over the world: for instance "Masterpieces: Art and East Anglia".

SCVA will stage 'Masterpieces' in September 2013, through to March 2014, contributing very creatively to the University's 50th anniversary celebrations.

Masterpieces will present the Art of East Anglia, as never before. This exhibition will launch newly refurbished galleries by displaying masterpieces of art from Norfolk and Suffolk throughout history.

Works will range from archaeological finds to contemporary design and around 200 objects will be brought together from both private and public collections.
