Inaugural Conferences June 2009


ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH THROUGH A POVERTY LENS

In June 2009 the Network held two inaugural conference events, under the joint title Environment and Health Through a Poverty Lens.

Symposium 15-17 June, held at University of East Anglia, UK


The parallel conferences formed an opportunity to discuss the critical linkages between environment, health and development, explore different research approaches and their analytical value, identify research priorities and shape ongoing plans for the Network.

Outputs from the conferences comprise: a summary report synthesizing discussions across the two conferences; a detailed report of the symposium proceedings; and a report on the e-conference contributions. These are accessible below:
