Earthscan publishers are actively interested in commissioning an edited book in the field of climate change and health, and one clear gap in the market is for a book that focuses on the implications of climate change for human health in developing countries. Such a book could cover impacts, vulnerability and adaptation, relating both to the population at risk and also to health systems.
This is a fine opportunity for members of the Environment, Health and Development Network to work collaboratively on a book project. We invite members to consider acting as editors and authors for this publication. The editor or editors will need to lead the project. The publishers have a demonstrated commitment to publishing in this field, but will need to see a strong proposal before commissioning takes place.
Please get in touch with ehdnet@uea.ac.uk if you are interested in taking this project forward.
