Getting Started with Elluminate

Details: This session provides hands on experience with Elluminate. It will cover classroom management and communication skills, including managing the participant, chat and audio windows, loading PowerPoint content, conducting a poll and using video.
Live online teaching and meeting tools such as Elluminate are becoming more and more popular in Higher Education. These tools allow people to see and talk to each other online, they allow slides and videos and other content to be shown, they allow meetings to be recorded and played back later, amongst many other things. Audience Response Systems

Details: This session provides hands on experience with Turning Point, a popular audience response system. This session will cover access to hardware, access to software, creating questions, delivering sessions and discussion about how audience response systems can be used to support learning.
