Coffee Breaks
Coffee Breaks are 15 minute sessions via Elluminate (UEA's online meeting and teaching tool) on a particular topic. In first few weeks of the autumn semester we will be focussing on Blackboard Essentials (as covered in the face to face course Blackboard Essentials).
If you are new to Elluminate you will need to configure your computer. Please click on the following link: https://www.elluminate.com/support. Then follow the instructions for first time users. We recommend that you do this a few days before you intend to use Elluminate so that if any issues do arise there is time to resolve them.
To access the room for the Coffee Breaks please click on the following link: https://sas.elluminate.com/m.jnlp?password=M.1B5D336A1EC8A6C0FA3BD9ADAE9585. You will be asked to type in your name before entering the room. The presenter will be available in the Elluminate room 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Preparation:
- Visit the Elluminate support page https://www.elluminate.com/support and follow steps 1 - 3
- Ordinarily you need to be able to listen and talk to engage with an Elluminate session and so need either a headset or speakers/microphone attached to your computer. For the Coffee Breaks it is sufficient to just have speakers or headphones because you can pose any questions via the chat window.
In session:
- Be sure to join the session 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start
- Set your Connection Speed (for UEA select LAN)
- Use the Audio Setup Wizard to test your microphone and speakers
