UEA is part of a higher education consortium known as MSDP, the Midlands Staff Development Partnership. MSDP courses are run at consortium sites and cover a wide range of topics including management issues, personal and professional development, and health and safety. They are generally available free of charge to any UEA member of staff, although travel and subsistence will need to be claimed through normal UEA channels.
Details of each MSDP course are circulated by CSED when they are received from the host institution. Requests for places on MSDP courses must be made via the CSED Office, ext 3039, which then ‘nominates’ UEA staff for attendance.
