Online CBT Life Skill Courses

These online life skills courses are based on cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, but using them on your own should not be seen as a substitute for professional help or therapy. For more information see the Students Against Depression website. 

MoodGYM provides an evidence-based, anonymous, interactive online facility for practising strategies for tackling depression, specifically depressed thinking habits.

Living Life to the Full teaches key knowledge in how to tackle and respond to issues/demands (including depression and anxiety) which we all meet in our everyday life.

The Centre for Clinical Interventions (Australia) offers a series of free online resources for tackling issues such as low self esteem; procrastination; perfectionism and disordered eating.

Relaxation

The University of Limerick Counselling Service has a set of MP3 relaxation programmes which can be downloaded free of charge.

The Mental Health Foundation offers a number of 'Wellbeing Podcasts' which can be downloaded free of charge. They are designed to help you relax and address various aspects of wellbeing such as sleep, nutrition and exercise.
